WWE split up Slater and Gabriel, which I personally thought was dumb, but moving on. It's fairly obvious from last night's package Gabriel is going to be built as a face sooner or later but what about Slater? One week he's given a match on Smackdown, the next he's back to Superstars. But he's giving promos so I figure WWE is doing something with him. What do you make of it? And southern accent/ridiculous fast food icon comparisons aside, why do you think the IWC hates him so much?

I completely agree. Just when I thought for a split second that WWE was rebuilding their tag division they break up Gabriel and Slater ?. It was a good timing for a break up as they went into the Smackdown’s MITB match. It just puzzles me why they would do that. WWE hardly utilizes their mid card talent except for putting them in no storylined exhibition matches. In my opinion Slater an Gabriel were a great duo, I’m not too fond on seeing Gabriel as a face. But you can’t help but see a babyface in Gabriel that’s what he’s born to play. Slater carried Gabriel to be an alright heel as part of a tag team. But Gabriel alone is just seen to be you typical face sort of like Evan Bourne. And that video package of him in SA was convincing enough, Personally I hate Slater I cannot stand him. I don’t see what girls see in that carrot top. He’s an average wrestler nothing different really. And his ‘one man rockband’ catch phrase is as ridiculous as it gets. Besides the southern accent I think the IWC hates Slater because he’s just so easy to hate on. I think it’s more of his accent and how annoying he can be on mic, if he just wrestles and doesn’t touch the mic then I’m alright with him. Im not sure why he was on Superstars, Smackdown seemed to have a jam packed show. Slater was probably not needed at all….
