Kevin Nash vs CM Punk ??
With the shocking return of former WWE Superstar Kevin Nash. It’s a hot topic whether he has a few matches left in him or not. If you saw SummerSlam this past Sunday, you would of witnessed Nash jumping the rails to deliver a monstrous power bomb to the former WWE Champ CM Punk. The moment felt right, the power bomb was excellently executed. And it made me think does Nash still have it ?. He might have some ring rust, but he could overcome this by training easily. He’s no stranger to a big competition. And a match with Punk is the biggest competition you can face in the WWE today. After watching SummerSlam I was immediately waiting for Raw. As Raw transpired, Nash finally took to the mic to explain his actions. It wasn’t anything new, Nash didn’t screw up on the mic he didn’t stutter or fail and I was amazed.. because Nash still has it. He got quite the heat and it was very convincing. Punk who wasn’t afraid to cut to the chase brought out the fact that his career was dead and it wasn’t 1994. Which I thought was quite funny but at the same time technically not true. I believe Kevin Nash can pull out 1 or 2 matches he still has his large bodyguard like figure and mean heel look that’s convincing to any mark. If WWE pursues to push a feud forwards towards Nash and Punk I think they’ll both put on one classy match. Both men cut great promos, both men are no one trick ponies when it comes to incredible matches. And both men are great workers. It’s an idea that’s probably already being thought of. This may leave Punk out of the title picture but at the same time he’s a huge factor in WWE’s PPV buy rate. A lot of story lines can be worked around these guys, bottom line is Punk is clearly a hot commodity in WWE right now and working a story with Nash could help his career out in a way. And it’s also a great way for Nash to have a return match. I know he’s in great terms with WWE and with how they’re going with their storyline angles today I don’t doubt this happening at all.
