Vince Digs Booker’s Commentary ?
I was surprised to read that Vince is “very high” on Booker T’s commentary. And I’m not disagreeing, I personally love his commentary. Besides the continuous saying of “D BRYAN” & the bickering with Michael Cole. Booker does brings something new to the table. Vince calls it a “street perspective”. Which is quite true, Booker does like to use a ghetto vocab which I don’t hear very often. And it’s not your average commentary it’s different. Booker brings an uplifting hype to a match whenever he calls it. Despite the fact that he calls a few of the moves by the wrong name. Booker is quite enjoyable to listen to. And he isn’t the first WWE Superstar who’s hanged with the commentary crew for quite some time. A few guys like Foley and JBL have also taken the commentary booth and switched it up a bit. And it’s great to hear from a different perspective. I personally am not a fan of Matt Striker & Todd Grisham they can both call matches easily, but most of the times I find their jokes and punch lines a little dry and awkward. Some of you might disagree but that’s cool, because In my opinion the best commentary team in the history of WWE will always be: J.R and Jerry Lawler. Reason being because I grew up in The Attitude Era, not in the early days of wrestling where some people would say Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan. Great commentary is what defines a match, and of lately I’m not digging the trio of Ross, Lawler and Cole. I hope Raw’s commentary will have a near future change where the commentary will be back to good ol’ J.R & The King
